2. Purpose of the service

Sephora E-Sports is a Rocket League E-Sports community. This service connects an authorized Sephora E-Sports TikTok account with the official Sephora E-Sports Discord server. The service checks for new public TikTok videos from the authorized account and posts a Discord notification when relevant public content is detected.

The service does not publish TikTok videos, upload videos, or create TikTok posts.

3. TikTok API use

The service uses the official TikTok API only after OAuth authorization. Access depends on the scopes approved by TikTok and granted by the authorized TikTok account holder.

TikTok may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue API features, endpoints, review requirements, rate limits, or data fields. If this happens, the service may stop working fully or partially.

4. Discord notifications

The service may post notifications in the official Sephora E-Sports Discord server. Notifications may include public TikTok video details such as a title, link, cover image, or other public metadata returned by the TikTok API.

Discord may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features that the service depends on. Discord server permissions, deleted channels, or changed bot permissions may also prevent notifications.

5. Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no guarantee that the service will be available permanently, run without interruption, detect every public TikTok video, or deliver every Discord notification.

6. Prohibited misuse

Users and administrators must not misuse the service. Prohibited misuse includes:

  • Attempting to access TikTok or Discord data without authorization.
  • Sharing, exposing, or committing OAuth tokens or bot credentials.
  • Using the service for spam, harassment, impersonation, or illegal activity.
  • Trying to bypass TikTok, Discord, or hosting platform rules.
  • Interfering with the service's normal operation or security.

7. Revoking authorization

The authorized TikTok account holder may revoke TikTok authorization through TikTok's account or app settings, where TikTok provides connected-app controls. Revoking authorization may disable the TikTok connection and stop Discord notifications based on TikTok videos.

8. Service changes or shutdown

The service may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time, including for maintenance, security, API changes, Discord changes, or community needs.

9. Privacy

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
